Tattnall Community Hospital

Tattnall Community Hospital is once again struggling to stay alive. This seems to be a recurring problem every few years. In order to keep the doors open this time, new owners, Frontier Health, say that the county and city of Reidsville need to go together and sign a $4 million bond. What!!?? Obligating the taxpayers for $4 million to pay debts left by Resurgence (former hospital owners) seems absurd. It appears Resurgence has left Tattnall County high and dry, taking all the hospital profits with them, and leaving behind thousands of dollars of debt. I realize the majority of the county (and especially Reidsville) wants to keep the hospital open but there comes a time when enough is enough.
